My Pastor, John, would have made an excellent businessman. His knowledge and insights of human nature are straight forward and realistic. His organizational techniques are beyond reproach. But most importantly, he knows the Bible and the Church. 

In a recent Sunday sermon he related to us that the last seven words of a fading Church are: 

We have never done it that way!

It has been my experience that it works in business that way, too.

So it is with businesses, marriages, raising children, planning for retirement, etc. You try to foresee the future, plan for all eventualities, spend your resources so that you will reach success. But it is still the unknown that you guard against. And just like the architects and designers of every lighthouse, they know things can go wrong.

Countless training seminars are held every day sharing great, useful ideas.
